SIT Hyderabad hostels offer a comprehensive range of facilities within the University campus, separately for boys and girls. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by providing comfortable, safe and homely set-up within the hostels. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. To guide the students and to monitor the day to day management of the hostels, each hostel has wardens.
Residential facilities are available for students enrolled in most of the postgraduate institutes, with individual blocks available for male and female students. Double/triple occupancy rooms with attached bathrooms are provided with all modern amenities.
The hostel rooms are spacious with natural light and ventilation. Each room has an attached toilet and bathroom. Each student is provided with a steel cot, a study table and chair and a mattress.
Symbi Food Court includes a traditional low priced Canteen, General Stores, Yummy and a Juice Bar. The Canteen serves snacks, beverages, breakfast and lunch with a variety of items which suit the needs of students belonging to different geographical locations of the Country and even abroad. Frequent random checks are carried out to ensure that the food served by the Food Court is hygienic, tastes good and is made from good quality ingredients.
