Message:

At SIT Hyderabad, mentoring plays a crucial role in shaping the careers and lives of young minds. In line with this vision, we have established a robust Mentoring and Counselling Cell to support our students. We foster an environment where students are encouraged to excel academically and grow personally and holistically.

Each faculty mentor is assigned a group of 15 to 20 students, and regular meetings are held to address any challenges or provide guidance. These mentor-mentee interactions serve as a valuable platform for students to discuss academic and non-academic issues. While academic matters are prioritized, mentors act as a vital link, escalating non-academic concerns to the appropriate authorities when needed.

To strengthen this support system, we also conduct parent-mentor meetings once per semester, typically in the middle of the term. These meetings allow parents to engage directly with mentors and gain insights into their child's progress. Additionally, parents are welcome to visit the Institute anytime to meet with mentors, faculty, or other administrators to discuss any concerns.
